Meredith Stepien grew up in Pinckney, Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan, where she met her fellow StarKids. After college, she moved to Chicago, where she currently resides. Aside from StarKid productions, she has pursued a life in standup comedy, and she continues to pursue her passion for percussion. She plays music with Nick Gage (composer for Holy Musical Batman) and her band Jim and the Povolos. She loves swimming and Jane Austen, and she hopes to someday meet her hero, Billy Joel. She also has serious plans to own a dog at some point. She is excited for the next big thing, but she is also very appreciative and happy with the way things are right now.
